The status of Paul Harris Fellow is conferred upon an individual who contributes, or in whose name is contributed, a minimum of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation Annual Programs Fund. This fund pays for the grants and awards made by the Foundation including Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarships, Group Study Exchange, Health, Hunger and Humanity and Matching Grants.
